Accessibility Statement

Standards Compliance

In designing this site, we have used technologies which form a common standard. By designing to what are known as web standards, the content of this website is made available to a wider range of people and technologies.

We have ensured that we have met or we exceed the requirements of both the World Wide Web Consortium's (W3C) Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) and Section 508 of the American Workforce Investment Act of 1998. We strive to obey the spirit of the UK Disability Discrimination Act 1995 with respect to the provision of services online, as required by the Disability Rights Commission. We aim to make all our pages validate as XHTML 1.0 Transitional and use structured semantic mark-up.

Accessible Design

While we know that it is desirable to design a site that everyone can use, designing this site with accessibility in mind means that more people can access its content.
Many internet users with disabilities find websites difficult or even impossible to use simply because of the way they are designed. This website has been designed to be as accessible as possible and to be compatible with the types of adaptive technology used by people with disabilities, including screen readers.

Accessibility is not simply about creating web content that is available to the disabled. Designing with accessibility in mind enables web site content to be available to the largest possible number of readers, visitors or customers, regardless of disability or the type of access technology used. Agencies providing accessible information and services online are open to a wider range of customers.

Cascading Style Sheets

CSS, short for Cascading Style Sheets, a new feature being added to HTML that gives both website developers and users more control over how pages are displayed. With CSS, designers and users can create style sheets that define how different elements, such as headers and links, appear. These style sheets can then be applied to any web page.

Although I’m not totally clean I’m only using now and again, instead of once, twice, daily. I’m down on my meth. I stayed at Move On through the uncomfy stage when usually I’d bolt.
