A BIG THANK YOU TO FRIENDS OF MOVE ON
Take a bow, all of you who voted for us. We are delighted to reveal that Move On won the funding via public vote for the Developing Young Workforce (DYW) Opportunity Fund. We will now be able guide and support four young people in completing their forklift training at our Move On & FareShare depot.
John Hinton, executive director of Move On, said: “This is a fantastic achievement for our charity. We couldn’t have managed it without all the votes from friends and supporters of Move On in helping us spread the word.
“It’s about changing young people’s lives. Four young people will be trained over a period of thirteen weeks. They will be given the right guidance, experience and support in order to increase their chances of employment.
“We’d like to thank the panel at DYW for valuing the work we do here at Move On. Working together I know we can make an impact and reduce the number of young people who are currently unemployed, and give them a future.”
